Famille Plus Montagne

The "Famille Plus" label is the sole French tourist label designed for holiday resorts, recognized by the Ministry responsible for tourism, classifying the welcome and quality of service offered to children and their families. This classification is designed to meet the requirements of families with children (aged 18 months and over) spending a holiday in the mountains.

Courchevel undertakes to comply with the following seven points of the "Famille Plus" Quality Label: a personalized welcome, adapted activities, adjustment of prices to suit different ages, a varied selection of activities, a medical service nearby, a thoughtful approach to children's needs and an awareness of families' expectations and requirements. Le Village des Enfants (The Children's Village)

The ski resort of Courchevel 1850 and the ESF French Ski School designed the Children's Village, a safe area specially equipped for children, comprising several ski lifts (rope tow and cable car) so that they can learn to ski in complete safety, away from other skiers. The Children's Village is open to children from the age of 3, and the children are supervised by specially trained instructors. Safe Sledging Areas

Your kids will have the thrill of sledging safely in the two areas specially designed for them. The first is located in Courchevel 1850, at La Croisette at the bottom of the slopes (for toddlers) and the second at Grandes Combes, which is easily accessible from Courchevel 1550 and 1650. These areas are regularly maintained, for maximum enjoyment!

ZEN (Novice Evolution Zones)

Courchevel welcomes children and has a special area reserved for them, where they can practise without any hassle on safe, well-maintained wide runs. There are four ZEN areas in Courchevel: one at the foot of the Praz cable cars, one in Courchevel 1650 and two in Courchevel 1850.

La piste des Indiens (The Indians' trail)

Courchevel provides your little ones with a tribal chief who will tell them exciting stories about his people, in a tepee. He also organises entertainment and play activities such as a treasure hunt in the village of tepees!
